Extremely terrible experience with Matrix. Took a card from them while travelling to Bali from India. I paid the amount in advance. They were supposed to deduct the amount I spent and return the rest. This was supposed to happen after a long period of 50 days. But little did I know that these cons would not bother to refund it at all. I checked with them almost after 2 months had passed. They have this amazing auto reply mechanism that tells you they will not be able to reply before 2-3 days have passed. But dont expect a reply from them before a week has passed.
After a long week of wait I get a uselss POD which indicates the cheque has been given to some random person in some random city that I have absolutely nothing to do with. I send a mail to them asking them what bullshit is this. To which they again reply in a month that there has been some error and I need to share my bank account details with them and they will make the transfer after an inquiry.
It is so amazing that after they have put the customer through all this trouble and delay for the amount rightfully due to her, they will still put you on hold punishing you for their mistake. And guess what, it has been more than a week now and no update so far. I wonder if they will bother to transfer the amount at all. A company of shameless cons! I will never be taking a matrix card again and would advice others to do the same.
