While going walking to matheran from aman loudge make sure you'll get done with monkey point before you reach in market because while goin it will make differance of 2 kms but if u go to market and come back that will make a diffrance of around 4 kms by coming back all the way 1.5kms down and up. Then market to lake and from market to rest points which are in one row. This will be benificial for you.
Market place is very good. You will get everything. All type of food, medicals, bar, entertainment places ( games) and lonavala chikki also. : ) : )
Lots of lodging options frm unrated to 5 star as per your need. Rent Starts from 600-700 to 6000-7000 per night or more. even villas also available for families or big groups.
Guys just make sure monkeys are aggressive somewhere. Be careful. Dont keep anything visible in your backpack. Not even your waterbottle or anything in bottle compartment which can be visible for them thru that bottle keeping net. Now you are full safe.
Even u'll get BANKS & ATMs in market. U feel like city in market area. So u dont need to carry anything for tour.
