Before reading this review, please understand that I usually watch and enjoy Bollywood movies meant for the family... only. In other words, I do not take much pleasure in watching a transvestite urinate or in corrupting my mind with dreadful jokes about how making love is similar to cycling.
I was first inclined to watch this oh-so-strange movie when I saw Vivek Oberoi on the cover. True, he isn't Shahrukh Khan, but he's had quite a few hit movies up his sleeve with the amazing Saathiya and the not-so-amazing Kyun! Ho Gaya Na.
But even Vivek Oberoi and his dashing locks weren't enough to change my opinion of this horrible movie. The stupid plot is somewhat original. Three college party-guys, named Amar, Meet and Prem separate for a while and get married. They hate their wives. They decide to have an affair. They get blackmailed by this crazy woman named Monica; the rest of the plot is so over-stretched that I really don't want to explain it to you :)
Like most of Vivek Oberoi's movies, I got really into it when first seeing his dashing locks. However, after three hours of similar expressions on an indeed cute face, I got tired of him. Same with Amaan... I'm sorry, I don't know the actor's name. The songs were fair but not amazing,... over the roof with much PAINsuits its new title.... and the 95% of the jokes were sexual.
So if you like that sort of thing... by all means, go buy a bunch of popcorn, get a girl/boyfriend (depends which way you swing) and have fun. But please, please do not perform my mistake and watch it with your little sister and grandmother. :)
