Being a master is really tough u c!!. Review on Master Of The Game - Sidney Sheldon

I read this novel past days, when I started it, it seemed like all those Sheldon novels which I have read before - the same fast plot and thrilling story line, and by the time I had read half of the novel I realized that this novel is also same as other novels of Sidney Sheldon are.

But giving the same thing again and again Sheldon makes it a point to gift wrap the same thing in some other colour, and it is the colour of the wrap that makes the novels successful. U c this time the same pattern of fast story filled with love, romance, betrayal, revenge, murder, conspiracy and thrill is served to us in the dishes of South Africa.

A young boy Jamie Mcgregor goes to South Africa, in search of diamonds, but was betrayed by a local trader and Jamie almost died due to that trader's betrayel. But Jamie is a fighter. He decides to have his revenge against the trader. That trader had a worker named Banda who was a black. Banda also wanted his revenge against that trader becuase he had raped his sister. Both of them come together and make a plan and enter into the diamond fields of that trader and steal his diamonds.

Then Jamie comes back and destroys that trader by playing smart business tricks on him and makes a company named Kruger Brent Ltd. He has a son and a daughter by the daughter of that trader, but his son dies due to some business conflicts and Jamie suffers a stroke and dies within an year.

Then his wife takes over and his daughter Kate grows up and finally takes over the business.

Kate has two daughters, Eva and Elizabeth.

Now there's a little story of these two girls becuase Eve the elder sister always wants to kill Elizabeth to take over the business.

Eve is a sex maniac and when Kate comes to know it she dismisses Eva from her property, but she schemes against the whole faimily and somehow gets in back.

But the ending of the story, and for the sake of interest I am not mentioning it here what it is, for the sake of interest (in fact the people who think that I have mentioned the whole story in the above sentences, r wrong 'cause I have mentioned some main things and have ommited a gr8 deal, just for the sake of ur interest), is a very bad one.

I find the ending very absurd, which leaves the reader thinking what the hell has just happened. The ending also hurts because everything is set for a very good climax and things r just happening in the right way but suddenly something very bad happends and that bad thing is the last chapter of this book.

Otherwise, a typicall Sheldon novel, very nice and good time-pass reading,
