I've recently shifted to bangalore and have been looking around for food which I can eat without much thoughts on my stomach and still pamper my tongue, Banged into this place last weekend and was overjoyed to see the offerings on menu, tadka daal chawal, rajma chawal, paneer capsicum and lot more interesting paratha combos and a very interesting thali concept called halka phulka 1, 2 and 3, the order need to be placed first and paid and then served.
We ordered Daal Makhni with pulav and one HP 3 and one Mango Lassi. Daal makhni was superb in taste and so as dal tadka served in Halka phulka combo, the two sabjis and special papaya chutney were also there in the platter which I was told that are changed every day, the phulkas were not hot, but was surprized to see that as soon as we told that to the manager, the sam ewas immidiately replaced with fresh ones:)
Really enjoyed my meal with my friend and hope to have lot more visits to mast kalandar.
