OPENING STATEMENT: s.s rajamouli experiments with sunil this time. maryaada ramanna is a movie
that has all the elements of sentiment action and comedy.
CASE: director portrays sunil ( ram ) as the protagonist who reaches a village near cuddapah to sell the land of 3 acres his mother owned. however ram falls in trap of the deadliest villain nagineedu. there is
a untold past in the movie that links sunil with nagineedu. now nagineedu and his sons are planning
to kill ram but nagineedu"s daughter loves ram. does ram escape form them and realize true love is to be seen.
FATE: the movie revolves in a house and audience expect a technically brilliant and clever direction by rajamouli and stupendous acting by sunil. anyway the fate is upon experimenting with sunil.
EVIDENCE: s.s rajamouli once again with his talent in direction and screenplay has played a positive role
in the movie. sunil excels very well. saloni and nagineedu too plays their part very well. supreet is a robust
revenge taking person in the movie. comedy department is well excelled by sunil himself. action pumps
up in the last 10 minutes of the movie. there are no really action scenes but there are threadings that
will be considered as action bits. music by keeravani is good and background score with good sound mix brings the tempo in the movie. the last song " parugulu teey" is the showpiece for the perfect sound mix by keeravani. songs are picturised well. editing is crisp and thus makes a small movie just approx
running about 2 hours. costumes and cinematography is good enough. rest departments are good.
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: 2nd half for about 30 minutes was very slow and seemed dragged. and it seemed the movie has lost interest. this might affect the final results.
CLOSING STATEMENT: maryaada ramanna is a simple story directed to perfection and cleverly done.
FINAL VERDICT: hats off to the whole team.
