Zen..Thieves like it why? Almost I lost my car. Review on Maruti Suzuki Zen - Petrol

Last night I had luck ruling in my favour. I have a Maruti Zen (old model) & a Fiat Palio.

Well, this is a not review about those cars.

I have fitted Autocop in Zen with shock sensors & no security device in Palio. It was today early morning 1.15 am when I heard alarm of my Zen sounding. I got up & saw that my dear car is out side the gate.

I jumped out of the house & in dark..I cud see 2 a**holes running away.

They had removed the back glass of my Zen. Before that they cud cut all the wires of the Autocop for shock sensors!! So that they cud roll the car outside the gate.

I feel when they tried to start the car by shorting ignition wires the Autocop alarm went off..thank god it worked at least by this time...

So I cud get my dear Zen back. Yes. I was little surprised why they dint try Palio..When day light came, I checked Palio, those scoundrels had tried damage keyhole of Palio also but I believe the locking system was beyond their expectation. Also both front & back glasses are pasted in Palio & not with rubber beading like in Old Zen so glasses in Palio could not be removed.

I was thinking though with shock sensors fitted in Zen , how they were able to take it outside the Gate with no noise. The answer is very simple. All the technicians who fit Auto Cop or any other security systems have a standard workman ship. They lay

wires & fit sensors through a particular point.

So my request to all Car owners who shell out their hard earned money, is to have a check with their security systems & revamp it so that it is life tough for thieves.

Who knows the guy who fits Autocop may be the real thief or their agent, hence if even if you fit security device in your car, there is no assurance. I think the best way is to have 2 or 3 German Shepherds. They will be loyal.
