I bought this car in the year 2003, it's currently run upto 20000 kms.with an expectation of 14-16 kmpl mileage with AC on. But it hardly gives 12 kmpl with AC .. which is bit disappointing for me
Even WagonR and Santro gives this kind of mileage.
Also Maruti Zen (Petrol) was the first car for me.. Now I have realized that it's boot space is too less.
It was one of the best buy some time back but in today's condition I would have gone for atleast WagonR kind of Car
Otherwise I have not spent too much on Maintenance of this car - it is stable.
You should not buy this car if you drive long distances frequently, it may not be the best choice ... also it's ground clearance is very very less, even it hits the road while crossing speed breakers of delhi... you should not buy this if you are staying in hilly areas.
