I have purchased a new Zen Petrol Lx E1 a couple of weeks back. I had a great love for Zen since it was launched. Since I was using an old model Maruthi 800, I postponed the purchase of my Dream car for at least 6-7 years. At last hearing that, the introduction of new laws will definitely disallow the gas conversion of old cars, I finally changed my mind & purchased a new Zen, defnitely Lx E1 with an eye to convert it into LPG.

It is fantastic car, definitely, but still I feel some thing lack in the driving comfort with my Old Suzuki 800. The power of 3rd gear in old model 800 is some thing different. I don?t know the technical details of the engine. I know that Zen has more power and more sophisticated engine; still I believe there is some thing different in the performance when compared to the old model 800. I have driven Maruthi 800 new models.

It is obvious that it lags way behind when compared to the old model 800. Returning to Zen, The interior has become more plastic than that of old version I think. Seats are good. For user who is switching over from new model 800 to Zen, definitely I would say that it s a Benz like comfort for him. Mileage also very good. Before first service I got 19km in highway and 15.5 in city rides, that defenitely using the fifth gear more.

Unless it would fall below 12. Finally I recommend Euro I model, since it is very repair friendly when compared to EII, and also mileage is very poor in EII models. And if you have any idea of converting into gas it is better to go for EI. Thank you for reading.
