After having released my review on the tata a few days ago, I thought of highlighting a few of the features, which I as a user felt, make this car so dear to me. I hope this review would help buyers like me, who value their hard earned money.

After having gotten rid of the Indica, I decided to buy a new car in the same segment. So me and paro went out to test drive a few used and new cars on a sunday. We were passing through a phase where we couldnot afford to invest in another bogus car. In effect, it was an acid test of our wisdom. One thing for sure was , we were the least inclined toward a diesel car. After seeing the cost benefit of used cars, we ruled out buying any of those. And women as u know , are more fancied toward buying brand newies. So I had enough reason. We went to SAGAR automobiles, Bangalore, where we met with some very helping and positive minded people, who were willing to enable us test drive on all the maruti models. We drove an Alto and then the Wagon R. Clearly, this decision was spontaneous, the moment I took over the wheels. I told her, ''this is gonna be our next car''. We paid the advance and bought a wonderful piece of engineering, with a powerful engine and efficient AC.

In April '05, when we decided to move to Pune, I decided I would drive my car to Pune, as it was only 850Kms from Bangalore. So I set off on 15th April, on a unique mission. The roads are excellent , like some of the US expressways, at some places, where the Golden Q is ready. The freeway has two parallel service roads all along, which is unique of the GQ. Never seen it anyhere else. The car performed superbly and raced to 125 , effortlessly. To my surprise, any other small car that I saw on ther highway was on almost every occassion, another WagR. The car gave an amazing mileage of upto 17-18 kms/l . The AC was like freezing me at times. On 16 morning, when we set off on the final leg of our journey, on a treacherous stretch, I was suddenly confronted with an overtaking 1210 monster, coming from the opposite direction. Thanks to the superb manouverability, it saved my and another person's life that morning.

In all, I would recommend a WagonR highly, to anyone buying that car. It has all good qualities of a truly international car. Plus, Maruti service is excellent, any time. So go ahead and enjoy the drive...
