Hey Buddies
After a long hiatus, I am back at the doors of Mouthshut. I guess I cant shut my mouth at all.
During the course of the last few months, I added a great deal of electronics to my collection and ofcourse the big one was Ms SALLY.
Sally is like the big amazonian woman, with a lot of power. Yes, she has a lot of room for people and she does not complain, for her the more the merrier and that is what she is made of
None other than the Wagon R Vxi. Boy, if Santro says its the tallboy, then Wagon R is the tall girl, who lacks the curves and depends on pure bone structure.
Her highlights, stability at high speeds, I zipped with her to Wayanad last month and boy did she do a speedathon. Sexy underside!!!Suspensions seem to be like riding on a wave. No jerks. And to test it, I took her from Wayanad to Gudallur through the tea estates.
The jerks minimal and the steering power amazing, tight control and room to play around with the steering. Of course dont forget the height and she cleared all the humps, while poor cousin Zen scraped around here and there.
You can take your entire house within her. Huge dash display, would have loved a clock, but then I do have a watch, so I cant complain. Space seems to be the thing in mind when they created her. Room in the front, underneath the dash, on the side doors, the dash cabinet itself and the bottle and cup holders, not to mention the coin/cigarette/mobile holder. Boy can she take in a lot of luggage
Talking about luggage, the boot was an amazing adventure in itself and the rear seats folded back could be used as sleeping couches. In case you are stuck in a new place, with no hotel rooms, this is the baby you need.
So what else does she possess? Power, power to zip in and zip out and then power to steer around.
It rained heavily during the trip and the wipers at 3 speeds were a blessing. Of course it was like sitting in your portico and watching the rain. so near and yet so far
Top speeds rated at 180kph, but doing a 130 is powerful enough. Fuel economy at 17km to a litre without a/c on highway and 15km within city is good for this baby. High clearance from the ground and wide front shields give this baby a style of its own
Some say it is a drawback, the outside looks. But for me it is in 2 folds that I look at it. One, I am sitting inside when I drive and I cant see her from the outside, and two whats looks got to do with when you buy cars for the purpose of travel
