I bought new Wagon R Duo, LXi on 25th January 2007. A decision which came after a lot of feedbacks from various automobile sites, friends & relatives. I must say that the release of New Zen Estilo has become a biggest reason of my and my wife's delayed decision on Wagon R Duo. Since we both like the look of Toyota Innova, and this new Zen looks just like a baby of that. It worked against it.

Looks wise Wagon R Duo has impressed me a lot. Its front head lamps give it a killer look. The extended grills have given it a facelift from its older versions.

And once you get inside it, it does not feel like a small car. The space inside is huge & very impressive and is more than enough for two of us.  Getting in and comming out is hassle free. There's ample leg space.

In Mumbai we spend more fuel just waiting on traffic jams rather than driving, so at least here my biggest concern is savings on fuel price. Having LPG at the rate of Rs. 24.75 (less than half of petrol price) is a very economical option. The car promises to give 11-12 Kmpl on LPG in city.

I tell you that most of the people have a slight hesitation in using LPG. But if you can take my advise, its very safe and I think everybody should contribute from their side towards our environment. Please use environment friendly fuel. If you are worried about safety, Its as dangerous as petrol. Furthermore, we all are using LPG in out kitchen. We have known LPG since quite long. The company fitted LPG tank gives me total peace of mind.

One best part is that you don't have to worry about switching between petrol and LPG. Fill your car with LPG & petrol. Put the switch on auto mode.  The car will start on petrol and after a while it will automatically switch to gas. Till it run on petrol the gas indicator keeps on blinking, and once the system switches to gas, the blinker will stop and will glow contineously. I see it hassle free. In fact when the vehicle switches to gas I do not feel the difference. Just looking at the dashboard I know that it is running on gas.

Its AC is very effective, although I have put a good heat protection film in my car and secondly I have not yet seen the summer time to get its real effectiveness.

One more thing, on gas the engine becoms very quite with very less vibration.

I would recommend everyone who are interested to go for this car, its worth making such smart decision.

I would like to give my experience on the fuel average, later, after my car's 2nd service.

Till that time good bye.

Rohit
