I got the delivery of the Wagon R DUO LXI(Model: 2007) on March 5th 2007 from Kalyani Motors, Mysore Road, Bangalore.
I'm very happy with this dealer though this dealer is very new, just a couple of months old,
I found they are ultimate in their service as compared to the others who are already in the business from very long.
Made lot of survey in the market to decide for which car to buy and finally gone for the W-R-duo which suited my requirment.
I have done with almost 600 km by now and tried both highways and city rides. Following are my observations regarding this Car.
The space(leg room, boot space etc.) inside the car is too good compared to the other cars in its class.
Electronic power stearing(EPS) gives you smart drive experience, especially in the city rides. You can come out of any clogged traffic so easily with the aid of this EPS,
I would suggest to go for LXI version instead of LX version, as the EPS is not available in LX versions.
Engine is so smooth while running on LPG, most of the time get confused weather the engine is on or off. But what I found while running on LPG is bit a lack of power especilally while AC is ON.
Gear Shifts are not so smooth as the engine, espically you find it hard 1, 2 and 5th gears.I guess this may be corrected after the first service.
AC is very effective and the milage I guess you shouldn't even think about it as you have already gone for the LPG versions and I'm least worried about it.
Breaks and Suspensions are very good. Seats are comfort and finally the car looks I don't say fantastic but I liked it rather I would have kept the older wagon-r looks, just keeping the new front headlamps design, it does gives a killer look.
Overall I'm a satisfied owner of a new wagon r duo.I can assure you a smart ride atleast.
