Finally I purchased this small beauty on Dec 3, 08. To be true I started off looking for Car from Swift and went till Honda City, GM Aveo, UVA, Hyundai, Skoda Fabia and finally narrowed down to Wagon R DUO & Santro ECO, considering my Pocket during this Recession Period with High Interest Rates and economical wise.
1st I checked Santro ECO. From look wise I liked and then went on to check Wagon R DUO. Surprisingly I found that rear leg room comfort was higher on this than Santro and considering the beauty and service of Maruti finalized this.
As this is the Year End Time got a good deal discount of 33K. So the on road cost Rs. 3.9 Lakhs. So far done around 600 Kms. and last time checked the mileage (after 3 fills), now coming close to 14 KM on LPG and 15+ on Petrol (Combine Local & 1 Long Drive). AC is good. I purchased from RKS Saboo, Hyderabad. The purchasing process was very smooth. The Agent was very polite and did his very best in getting finance from SBI in 5 working days for 11% PLR.
I just took the vehicle from the dealer. No xtra fitment from them. Last week for 35K had all the accessories from grey market. Fitted Xenos Car Security, Sony MP3/USB Panel, JBL Infinity Speakers 4, Sun Film RTO Approved, Luggage Carrier(this I like and gives sporty look :)) Body Graphics, Leather Seats & Leather Steering Cover, Steering Knob, Cigar Lighter, Mobile Charger, teflon coating, Fog Lamps, Full Matting, Mud Flaps, Wheel Caps 4.
So far I'm happy with Car Performance. Will update this review on mileage stuff after 1st Service.
Pick Up Wise you can't feel much difference if you do'nt want to race with others:).
