High Quality,great performance! Yes,It's the fuel . Review on Maruti Suzuki Swift

Hi MS Users, Was wanting to write a review for the past 3 days & finally found a very interesting topic.I own an Maruti Suzuki Swift for the the last 4 months but do not have many words to express my feelings on this car but to say that it's simply superb.I & my family members usually call the car-''Swifty''.It mostly has all the feature's which the premium cars do & is priced reasonably. I wanna say that- ''MARUTI HAS DONE IT, AFTER A LONG LONG TIME''

Performance: Before buying swifty, I test drove it for around 10 km and upto a speed of 83 km/h.The drive was a smooth one and specially the AC was chilling!!! Then immediately booked it on the 9/7/05. Performance of the car, after buying it: This car is a pleasure to drive.Inclusion of the power steering & climatic control is an added advantage.The big huge tubeless tyres make the ride a smooth one with it's comfortable cushioned seats & huge leg space.

While driving on highways, after you cross 130km/h speed in the speedometer, you tend to loose control on the car.Sometimes it even starts shaking, which disappoints me the most.In the hilly areas, swifty is at it's best(Awesome).It will never let you down in any conditions. The pickup is amazing.As soon as you put your feet on the accelerator,oooooppppsi the car jumpes and blazes off like a rocket.

Swifty never skids when an emergency brake is implemented, even during heavy downpours.(Major Advantage!!!)Coming to the 'AC' & power windows of the car, they completly rock.The car get's chilled as soon as the AC is switched on.Power windows are decent but the thing to look is that they never make a noise while in motion. Swifty is suitable for those people who wanna cut the traffic,enjoy driving & be free from all kinds of tensions.

Looks:

Swifty gives both a jumbo tumbo & an ancient/vintage look.You will fall in love with car the moment you see it But sorry to say that from the back, it some how dosent look that great.It gives a dull & odd look to the whole thing.The 'reflector case' head lights or the fog lights are very effective during winter/foggy/dark/cloudy day as the amount of light emitted is in large ratio's.The bumpers are coloured & huge.

They are very protective as they dont get scratches/dents easily.Cut shape handles used for opening the doors, are very stylish and make a fashion statement.The interior of the car is great to look at.The seats are well covered & comfortable to sit.

Average:

Mostly when people buy a car, the first question which comes to their mind is that ''Is car Ki Average Kya Hai????''.If the average of a car is good then it will sell in the market like hot cakes.Swifty let's you down particularly in this section.In city under normal conditions swift gives an average of 12km/litre.On the highway it's amazing, 15.5km/litre.

Boot & Leg space: Boot space is next to average. If you keep this factor in mind, then it's a useless car.More boot space is available in Hyundai Santro & Getz. Only 1 suitcase, 1 handbag & lots of polythenes can be kept.Coming to the leg space, it's more than enough.A 6 footer can also easily fit in without any sort of problems.

3 people at the back & 2 in the front can sit very comfortably.

While sitting in the swifty, it feels like you are sitting in a 'huge tub'.

When we gave this complement to the sales person,he gave us a Ferrari Perfume absolutely free.

1. While driving the car, some kind of a humming noise is produced which disturbs and can be heard by the driver and the person sitting next to him.

   
   




2. The front and the back doors rattle while closing/opening them.We also got it checked by the dealer but ......guess what?.........he had no clue at all.......

   
   




3. The light which glows when the car is low on fuel, called the 'Fuel Light 'is not present. After 2 days of purchase,our car stopped as there was no petrol left in the car.But we got a shock because we were waiting for the fuel light to glow.That didnt happen....
