Hi, I need some information about Swift
Presently I am contemplating about buying a swift but a bit confused about either to choose Petrol or Diesel.
I hope many would agree to this fact that old diesel vehicles were not meant to be parked for more than 2-3 days, whilst people could afford to to the same with petrol.
I am from Bangalore and I generally clock more than a 1000 km per month, when I am in town. However, sometimes I will have need to travel out on job for weeks together. Unfortunately, no one else at home knows driving. Though the technology has advanced, I am not sure whether it is possible to stagnate a diesel car for 6-8 weeks in a row, without anyone even starting it.
Could someone help me understand the same? I have made a small analysis and got to know that it would take close to around 3 years for me to break even the extra investment I would be doing for a diesel, when I compare the fuel & maintenance expenses for swift petrol.
Could someone also provide me some tips on choosing diesel vs petrol.
Please also let me know the mileage I can expect in city limits for both swift petrol & diesel.
Would it be worth waiting for Fabia instead of going for swift?
