Swift is Real Swift..Better then Getz and Fusion. Review on Maruti Suzuki Swift

Thanks for all the review on Mouthshut it made me buy this car and I am happy about it.

Bought Swift Vxi Azure Grey from Pune Kothari Hyundai on 19 October 2006.

Now I have completed 1500 km, so I think I can write reviews on Pros and cons of this vehicle.

Its my second car previously I had 800..still I have it.

First I had my mind on buying Getz, Fusion or swift.. had test ride for all.

For Fusionbest drivers car.. superb manoverability and feature.. bit too costly

Getz.. Hyundai, best space ,, verystandard looks, But cheap plastic and very thin metal, u touch it and u know it. also mileage not so good.

Now swift .. all what I could ask for, good mileage, good looks good space. Also Car of the year. so a definite edge.

Swift a good decision I made :)

It gave me a mileage of 16.28 kmpl on Mumbai Pune express Higway. ( I use speed I recommed that only for all)

In City Mileage 14.1 kmpl. with a/c

A/C is the best in class

I had my first servicing done. Alls good till here..

I would recommend people dont think of Santro, Getz , indica.. go for Swift..

Just some points which I am facing issue.

I got the car which had a small rattling noise on the front driver door while taking the delivery I knew there is noise but I was a bit impatient to take car home... now the rattling noise is intensified...

the service dealer is working on and still im facing this issue.

Some small issues, while driving we need to be cautious since it has a an angle from where we can miss a car coming from front , right side, the view is blocked by the side beam.

Also I canot see th the bumpers, I need to drive in city by guessing if its touching something or not.

It wud be better if they can provide adjustable seats.

Also after fitting alloy wheels the looks enhanced, I suggest that for all.

but 1 issue in this also, after I fitted alloy wheels, the spare alloy wheel could not be locked by the standard screw nut provided to fix it tightly in the dickky. so whenever there is a jump the rear tyre in the dickky makes some noise which is not godd. I m looking for the screw which by which I can affix it tightly in the dicky.

I am looking for good music system for my car, if anyone can suggest..
