Hi, Recently the company was offering an exchange benefit on Rs 15, 000 on A Star. I showed interest interst on a Maruti website and Auto pace contacted me and checked my vehicle and afterwards evaluated my 1996 Maruti AC car at Rs 33, 000/-. It is worthwhile mention my car is single owner sparingly driven and in excellent condition. I did offers of Rs 45, 000 in open market.
This makes me believe that the Autopace does not want to pass this exchange benefit offered by company to the customer as actually they evaluated my car Rs18, 000/- minus the exchange benefit. I have finally selling my car in open market for Rs 47, 000/- but decided NOT to go for a Maruti product due to their poor commitment showed by their dealer in Chandigarh.
I sincerely want to suggest to Maruti Co that the dealers agents are corrupt and like to make fool of the public and these "EXCHANGE BONUS" is not passed to the consumer.
I would like to mention I am extremely happy with the Maruti car as in the last 13 years this car has had no MAJOR defect.
