I liked the styling of the vehicle let alone the wheels.
I wish the company had designed it with broader tyres. Any after market change would make tyres protrude beyond the fender. I wouldn't want all the dirt and slush on the road to be splashed all ove my black car, for which I would already have to pay extra attention to keep it clean and shiny.
I've been considering alloy wheels. I havent bought them yet. Few reasons have been keeping me from going ahead. 1. Alloy wheels are no good without broader tyres and so to go for a change I need to shell out around forty grands. 2. In that case I'll be wasting the OE tyres and discs which will have to be sold for peanuts. I enquired in a few places in Chennai and guys told me that the best I can probably get would be aroud 500 per disc which makes it 2500 and then, two hundred per tyre which makes it 1000, both of which were brand new when I was considering the alloy wheels. 3. Alloy wheels come from several different brands, most of whom want to flash their logos. Unfortunately you seldom find someone talking about the brand of the alloy wheel and most of them are made in China. I would prefer a logo that would be either elegant or has a reputation as a performance accessory. 4. The Maruti Suzuki company alloys are too boring.
I would love to see Maruti Suzuki having better alloy wheels. That is exactly what I would want to have.
