I bought VDI on 5-1-08.My car running is too high.25, 000 kms in 9 months in my previous santro car.VDI gives me 18kmpl in city and traffic, 21-22 kmpl on highways and expressways.I fill normal plain diesel in my VDI, which is available on all petrol pumps.This has saved my fuel cost to a great extent.Thanks to Maruti and my dealer Navneet Motors, Thane.
I am extremely happy with swift diesel.You should also go for it.Very silent almost like petrol car, no vibrations.Maruti has done a great miracle, indeed. Truly Maruti has given a world class car to india.I have exceeded 2500 kms in one month.Those who have sit in VDI car, has really appreciated the car.Diesel is the best option as on now compared to LPG OR CNG. Nowadays incidents have occurred about blast or fire in LPG cars.So diesel cars are the best option as fuel prices are going to increase day by day.
