I have purchased a Swift Dzire VDI Dec 2008 Model. Through mouth shut I got to know about the Diesel performance kit(Dragon Performance kit) and got in touch with Mr Arvind Kannan and he helped me in getting the kit imported from US through one of his relatives. I fitted the kit on my car and was amazed by the difference in performance of my car after fitting the kit.
I was waiting for a reason to go on a long drive with the kit fitted on my car and the chance finally arrived on week 15 of 2009. I work in bangalore.so started the travel to my home town cochin from bangalore at around 1:00 PM IST. I reached the highway at around 1:30 PM and started driving towards salem. The roads are too good to drive. I was easily touching 140 and was constantly going on at the same speed. On the way I got to race with a Hyundia elantra CRDI. This was the most exciting part of the trip to cochin; elantra was travelling at around 160 Kms/hr and I tried to reach him and my speedo was showing 160 kms/hr when I reached him and then I pressed the accelerator a bit more and my speedo was moving towards 180 kms/hr and reached it easily. Now I could see that the guy in the elantra was despertly trying to overtake but was not able to reach me. I could feel that there is still more power in my car to take me to 200 kms/hr but was not quite sure whether my car tyre would be able to handle it. The tuning kit was acutally sqeezing out all the power from the engine and was available on the pedal and I was quite amazed with the mad speeds which I was able to achieve with my Swift Dzire.
The sweetest part was that after all these speeding my car gave me an average mileage of 17 to 18 Kms/litre:). I would recommend the tuning kit for which is available for all CRDI engines to all the speed demons out there. I am sure this would be an amazing experience.
Please be very careful at these speeds as I could feel that at 180 kms/hr my car typres had almost lost grip on the raods and steering was shivering like mad. So please be very careful and try these speeds if you have a good set of tyres on you car.
