Yesterday, I saw Maruti Swift DZire at a Delhi Maruti dealer’s showroom. There was a waiting for the test drive, and I didn’t have time. But I did take a close look at the car. Amazing machine. It looks better in real than in pictures.
I feel the car is a wonderful package – giving the first time sedan buyers the prestige associated with sedans at a great price. My take on the car:
· Great styling – extending the popular SWIFT look further with all the requisites of a sedan. A winner compared to logan’s boxy looks.
· From what I have read it has a very fuel efficient engine - this 1.3 MultiJet Diesel engine had won the 2005 Engine of the Year award in Europe
· Added safety features like airbags, abs, collapsible steering
· Features like automatic climate control, steering audio controls and tilt steering
· Plush interiors – the rear seat is more comfortable with more legroom.
· Reliability in terms of widespread service network
· Attractive price
· Adequate boot space
