On basing of my test drive, i would like to share few points regarding the performance of the car. As i, m a swift user, i think that there is nothing wrong to expect more on sx4 when compared to my swift before test drive.But, after the test drive, i realised that there is nothing more than my swift and even less(subject to pickup at low speeds & a/c).Though many people used to comment on me for comparing with swift , but my honest suggestion is to wait for a month for the full interpretation of performance of car by experts.
When we come to the interior space. Defnitly, its much more spacious than my car with good leg room and shoulder room and even boot capacity is best in class.But , on seeing specifications the dimensions reveals skoda octavia at exterior part & maruti fails to provide the same at the interior part and also the dash board resembles the simplicity but not exciting.Ofcourse, the plastics used in the interiors are of good quality with climate indicator and digital clock.The seats were particularly well shaped with soft enough support for a long time in the cabin.But, overall look of cabin feel was not that exciting as honda city, verna and fiesta.As for as i'm concerned fiesta still rules in this area.However rear seat is wider than fiesta and it can accomodate 3 medium sized people abreast and comfortable even than fiesta.
Engine was claimed to be powerful by the company naming m-series & suzuki 16v on the engine head.But I found no where the performance as 1600cc engine but 1200cc engine.Even the swift owners like me enjoys instant pickup at low speeds with sporty sound with full mode of a/c.But this car used to perform buzzy sound to acquire pickup and later becomes harsh.What I mean to say is , regarding engine performance city , verna, fiesta and even swift plays more than this.However suspension, braking, safety, dynamics are excellent and best in class beating fiesta, verna&city.its got particularly the light clutch and smooth gearing system with light and precise power steering.A/C performance of chilling makes you to suspect the capacity of engine, it makes your mind in doubt that "is this a 1600cc engine or 1000cc?", no where chilling efficiency found more than even my swift though I drove for 15 minutes.
On overall look of the car by a test drive I found it was a good option regarding features on offer for the price, but the performance remained me dissappointed, the only lacking it has.I'm recommending this car "no", just because to suggest my friends who are in plan to buy this car to wait for some time for a complete refined speech by experts but not the individuals like me and the members of community.
