Excellent value for money, feature rich & mileage!. Review on Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift 2017

This is one of the best car from Maruti. Strong build quality, value for money, feature rich package, advanced features, great mileage, very less maintenance, well established and sophisticated international class Nexa service all makes this the best value car.

S-Cross Zeta variant comes with all features one will ask for in this segment and is the recommended model. High efficient projector head lamps, fog lights, foldable rear view mirrors with indicator light, all wheel disc brakes, excellent design alloy wheels, high speed tires, inbuilt touch screen navigation system(maps bundled), speech recognition, dual DIN music system, rear wiper, cruise control, Suzuki vehicle hybrid system(micro hybrid), climate control enabled air-condition system, keyless entry, auto-start-stop, electric power outlet in rear, which can be used for even electric rice cookers(with respective voltage converter) and the feature list keeps expanding and covers almost everything one need in this segment.

Masculine muscular SUV design, very spacious interior, ample leg room, nice contoured seats, wide view cabin, adjustable rear seats, ample bottle and cup holders. Engine though 1.3L gives an output equivalent to 1.5L engine due to SVHS hybrid system which provide additional torque when needed. Look wise it is very similar to BMW X1.

Performance is pretty good in both city and highway. Easily accelerates to 160+ kmph speed. Mileage is rated to be around 23.5 and in real world situation it gives around 13.5 - 16 kmpl in city and 17 - 20 kmpl in highway at the speed of 120 kmph average. If speed is maintained around 80-90 kmph in highway the mileage increases beyond 21+. Driving between 120 - 140 kmph speed in highway with quick accelaration and braking gives clear 18+ kmpl.

With all great features, the only con in this car is the gear ratio which is actually not a problem but sure not one usually exists in other cars. Requires frequent shifting of gears particularly in city and during overtaking.

It is a very good family car with all goodies, safe acceleration, great mileage, optimum performance. Overall a very nice car from Maruti. Nexa service is sure a great experience with air-conditioned lounge with great facilities and customer experiences one would love. Overall an amazing feature packed, value for money, great family car in SUV form factor.
