Received my Ritz VXi granite gray on 08/05/2013. Only few kms done so far. So can not tell much about this right now. Sharing my personal feeling here. This is my 3rd car after Maruti 800 & Tata Indica Xeta. Researched a lot. Test drove i-10 1.2 kappa, Indica Vista, Chevy Beat and wagon-R. i-10 is a good car, but look wise not attractive & also Hyundai spare parts r high priced. Vista space wise is very nice, but I feel that power steering is not up-to the mark and also the break is weak. Wagon-R is 3 cylinder. So I prefer Ritz(4 cylinder 1.2 VVT engine) over them.
Now space wise Ritz is ok for a 6" tall guy (me 5'7"). It's really a tallboy. Power steering is ok ok, not like i-10 though. Break is also better than Vista but not like i-10. Turning radius is superb. Suspension is good. AC is ok ok type. Ground clearance is again superb. In India we need cars with good ground clearance and Ritz is the winner. Body is not like other Maruti cars. Well built. You can hear the THUD sound when you close the door(needs some extra power from you).
I installed remote key less entry & Double Din Music system with blue-tooth from the dealer. Here is an advice for you, Please do not install Music system/remote key/any electronic item from outside. Your warranty may VOID. Also there are chances for electrical hazards.
Till now I am happy. Will tell you about mileage & others after 1000 kms.
