After using Alto, it was the time to buy a new car. After narrowing down to i10 and WagonR, someone suggested Ritz which was nowhere in our radar. After checking the reviews online, it was selected without considering any other vehicle.
And 4 years since then, after running approx 32, 000 km. There hasn't been much of degradation in performance. The car did hit up on my last trip, but that was due to lack of service and maintenance. It still has an awesome road grip and power. Most of the travel is on highways and with seldom running in city, it(the petrol variant) gives a mileage of about 14-15 km(intermittent running of AC).
It feels comfortable and the engine doesn't make much of noise even with lack of servicing. A great, low maintenance vehicle!
Although, I hated the car earlier because of the looks. After driving, I am in love with it. The dashboard is wide and this may obstruct the view but once you get used to it, this runs like a flow. The gearbox is easy to work with and you don't have to work hard on the pedals too. The AC cools down the'chamber' comfortably even in hot noons(frequent maintenance required for that).
You can give it a thumbs up, without a second thought, if you are searching for a 5-seater hatchback. Plenty of leg space as well as boot space.
