When Ritz got launched in May I was too excited, as I wanted to replace my Alto Lxi.First impression, when I test drove the petrol ZXI, well it was not so zippybut smooth. I am more inclined towards petrol car as my running is around 50-60km daily, but I must tell you along with petrol version I test drove Ritz VDIalso, I was amazed at the acceleration and peppiness of this car. Now I knowthe reason why there is such a long q for Swift Diesel.
But still I was impressed by ZXI and wanted to book the car, but decided to wait for Jazz, did lot of study on net, but after launch pricing was such a big disappointment.That has not even gone to dealership to check.
Considered Hyundai i20 also, it is one of the most beautiful hatchback no doubt, but mileage and after sales cost was bit concern as the feedback I got from few owners isas it is on a higher side. Still feel I20 asta, if lesser by around 30k, it isa good buy.
More confusion as Fiat punto was about to launch, after seeing punto it is no doubt a very stylish car, but only exterior. Inside back seat are cramped, head room is just adequate. Boot is big but there is hardly any space to keep bottles and maps etc.top it all in petrol mileage is concern.
Though there is lot of choices(confusion) in this 5-6 lac bracket. But then I had decided to go for Ritz ZXI, is I found no other company is offering as much at this cost. Hope my decision is right. As other day saw on TV review of VW Polo, is gearing up for launch in India in January'10, hope am taking a wise decision, I had to buy a car as I have already sold my goodold Alto.
Pls share your opinion and views on Ritz Zxi.
GOT THE CARwell guys I got my car on 2nd july’09, done 1000 km on 27th, I really love driving this car, very smooth though some time it seems as steering is littel hard, will ask service guy to check on second service. You really need to be care full with A-piller, I am getting used to it.
Milage is around 12.5 with 100% AC with in city, for those who know Delhi I daily commute from Indirapuram to I.T.O, I guss it will improve after second service. I have not got gear lock installed, is it really important? I do not like somebody drilling my new car.
