RITZ another good car from Maruti stable. Review on Maruti Suzuki RitZ

I would like to share my views on the new Maruti suzuki ritz.Personally I would prefer the ritz mainly because of the all new k12 series petrol engine and maruti's nation wide service availabilities. Its a cute car with tallboy design.Its a blend of a-star, swift and wagon r. Some people doesnt like the boomerang styled tail lamps but once you buy it you love it.

DESIGN

1)designed like a large car can be compared to a european hatchback or even an indian sedan.

2)ritz and swift are on the same platform but 0ritz have more leg and head room.

3)better space than any other car in same segment(cannot compare with i20 because of its large price)

4)sporty looks, front looks like swift and rear looks are very different, may be a mixture of design elements from a-star and wagon r.

5)easy get in and getout(thanks to the tall design)

INTERIORS

1)superb dashboard with waterfall theme

2)console mounted gear is a joy to use

3)tachometer may distract some people

4)dual tone dashboard have much higher plastic quality than other marutis

5)spacious interiors, boot space a bit low

6)storage space will not be a problem anymore.

DRIVING AND ENGINE

1)drives like the swift but swift have more pickup than ritz

2)smooth drive.perfomes equally in highways and cities.

4)superb milage(16-17 in petrol and 19-20 in diesel)

5)low maintenence costs.

petrol: 3.90-4.80L

diesel: 4.65-4.99L

MAJOR CONS

1)boot space is low

2)diesel vxi version with features in zxi varient(such as abs, airbags, alloys) will cost more than 70000.

3) no zdi version.

CONCLUSION

Go for the zxi petrol version which is the top end model.it has many features including

1)abs

2)Dual air bags

3)Stereo mounted audio controls

5)Tilt steering and adjustable seats. some of these features are not available in any other competetive hatchbacks in this price. With a price af 4.80 lakhs the ritz zxi will be an ideal choice for a family of 4 people. I believe, with the cool looks and great features ritz will become one of the top selling models from maruti suzuki
