Excellent car - Recomment to all . Review on Maruti Suzuki RitZ

My earlier review was about my findings on test driving the car , but I finally purchased Ritz VXi after test driving i10, punto 1.2L, i20 and swift. Nedless to say that I focussed on all the factors including engine, power, looks, inside space, interiors, features etc..

Performance/Power

This is something which was very crutial factor for me for purchasing this car.I have done 200 kms on this car and this car had already started talking on the power terms. with 85Bhp engine it starts it makes fdriving in huge traffic effort less and also at speed of 135km/ph (i only managed to take it uo this speed) this car will ask you to peddle more and without much of vibrations and you wont feel loosing control of the car.

*Mileage

*Till now I have got 11kmpl with A/C on in huge to moderate Delhi traffic. Expecting to increase after clocking more KMs.

*Interiors/Comfort

As I previously iterated that sitting/driving this car will give a sense of sitting on mini SUV... you will feel like sittin inside Innova(atleast I did and everytime do) with good fabrics and interiors. Not to forget with good space inside definatelty will catch you as suzuki has played with back sapce providing more space as compared to swift. dual tone interior is a plus in this car.

Exterior.*

This car can boast of european looks and I take it this way if you are looking for something fresh, different , unlike others , innovative and fun go for this car. This car definately has something to turn heads on and is second to none.

Overall I would rate this car as 9 out of 10 and a good value for money , I purchased a vxi model which costed me 4.60L on road and dealer provided me with free accessories. Totally satisfied.

I would recomment this car to everyone but now this car is on long waiting period on2-3 months as per the dealer but its worth wait...

I have driven this vehicle three times now and every time this car surprises me with things it has to offer.

Time when u reach the showroom your eyes with scan around to see the much hyped Ritz

and beileve me you will be astonished to see a totally new car with combined looks of Swift , Innova and A star .

This car actually looks bigger from outside and is roomy from inside as well unlike other suzuki cars of this segment which are not so spacious from inside especially rear seating.

Styling:

This car will joyce style seekers as this time suzuki has tried to combine sporty and family looks which will appeal to both young guys and family buyers. Overall this car looks are combination of swift, Innova and A star from front and side. Rear has a kink bending inside which is usually seen in french hatchbacks, this car wears a totally new look from behind.

*Interiors/Space

First thing you will notice is the interior plastic quality which is not upto the standards of car. Suzuki have tried to play with the interior design by offering dual tone interiors.The car is well spaced from inside which can seat upto 5 people comfortably. Fabic quality is modest. There is enough room and head space , (good for tall guys like me). Rear seat comes with 60:40 ratio and is retracable to accomodate extra space which is a new concept in this segement. There is no Music system in Vxi model as what is standard fitment of Astar Vxi.

*Driving

This car is based on tall boy design which gives a feeling of driving an innova(i must say that) , seating is very well suited and you can have a good look at road around. Console attached gear shift is very smooth and effortless. you might face problems while backing the car but this is same with all the cars of this segment. The driving is much more comfortable as compared to other cars with more focus towards easy in and exit from the the car. Car covers potholes and bad roads with ease not much compromising on riding comfort.

*Engine

Ritz comes with 1197cc( petrol ) with 85 bhp/1.2 L engine which gives sense of driving a powerful car. Handeling of car is good and runs well on the road . There is not much of difference between engine capacity of ritz and swift .

Overall this car is a good alternative of Swift /i10 /i20 and provides much more space , power and value for money with good looks . Will attract family buyers.
