After having driven my swift LDi for 80, 000 km I decided to change the car , I got a good value thanks to Ture Value . Looking the long waiting for the Swift , we decided to go in for the Ritz LDi , basically having the same engine (DDIS) .
I was a little surprised to find the good amount of space in the car depsite looking small.As per specs it's about 10mm smaller.
They have taken some lessons from Logan in managing space.. it think Mahindra check up your R&D team!!
Anyway I took the delivery in april and have driven about 15, 000 km it's a mixed bag experience.
Lets go through the good things first..It has great headroom, especially for people like me who stand tall and handsome :-). Suspension is great , much much better than swift which was pain in the back..

Nothing much about the engine , same zippy engine with somewhat low mileage.., It has improved since third service.
The gear shift is a little crancky but works well..But I have major problem with the steering since it's very heavy..not as easy to turn as swift.
Firments are as usual making sound .. Maruti learn from Fiat.. your cars make sound even just out of showroom.
Will update the post after some more driving in it.
It is now 35000 km even a long drive of 1500km on clear expressways I got only 16-17kmpl.
So watch out for those 21kmpl promise . If you have little extra cash its better with swift bu I think VW or Figo is a better deal these days as swift looks more like a old amby omni present and waiting to be dusted off the roads.
Ok one more thing I suspect the turbo charge has been removed and so the poor mileage and no latency kick of turbo in ritz unlike swift
