I was off from my work one day and decided to go and test drive the Maruti Suzuki Ritz. I wanted this test driving to be a hobbie of mine. Give you a good insight of the latest cars in the market. Lets see what I saw in there.
Exterior:Nice build like spiderman, Not too muscular and not too lean. Let just call it as a right figure.The front looks really cool and trendy. Ritz has got nice head lights and comfortable ORVMs.Coming to the rear, I know its a debatable topic, I first felt that suzuki forgot to build the back and rolled out the car like that into the market. Take a closer look and the mordern look might entice you. Its not bad, Comon! I started to like the back and it gives an illusion that the back is like concave shaped due to the boomerang shaped tail lights, also its flat and a bit bulged at the rear bumper. We can get a nice paint job done as it looks nice for a car this shape.
I never saw a spolier for this till now, Let pray that someone has it ready. The coolest part are the tyres, Its got the same tires as the swift. Nice grip+ Elevation and man you should see the turning radius. I didnt even realize that the car turned a hairpin curve with ease. ITS VERY COMFORTABLE to drive and even climbing in/out. You never feel that you are getting into a car. Its like yuo just walked in and jumped out. The visibility is Ritz is the best in Hatches.
Engine:I dont want to comment much on the engine. Maruti has got its own reputation.
Interior:Interiors are OK as we all know that Mauti needs to improve a lot on it. Bad plastics used and oval shaped AC vents rear view mirror. The speedometer has all the indicators and lights built around it. This looks irritating including the white background of it. The boot is just sufficient and the eurpoen ritz has got a trap door sort of thing under the dicky after lifting the panel above the spare tire. This has been removed in India. Its got the same space as any other hatch back, If yuo dont compare with Fabia and Jazz.
Mileage:The vehicle is very light and easy to drive. And with a 1200 CC engine, and with no clutch dumping, it should deliver what it should.
