I bought this vehicle only because of space inside the vehicle, rather than considering the interiors. Even tall person can comfortably sit in the back seat. There is lot of boot space than any other mid size car. The main drawback of the car is the controlling the vehicle when the speed is more than 80 KM. 2 months back I was on the way to chennai with my family when I was after ashok leyland factory next to the left petrol bunk, suddenly one sumo passed from my right to the petrol bunk. I was not able to contrl the speed and the brakes were so drained that I was not able to slow down the speed. Then I managed to take full left and somehow survived. BRAKES are the hearts in the vehicle, but in the car the brakes are less than my TVS bike.
The front seats are like hot pans when the vehicle is done for morethan 60 kms. We are not able to bear the heat inside. Even the gear liver strucks in the 3rd gear. Even the pickup is down after the first service.
The company should make mind in improving the interiors, AC's, brakes, Gear functions etc. Unless the company decides on this factor Iam sure that this model will have to wind up. I think fiat is far better than this venicle. You can feel the bad expereince when there are one or two person in the car. It often jumps like something and u cannot have the control on the vehicle.
Another impotant thing is never take the vehicle in rain as fog will be covered completely and the brakes will go dead and finally u will be lost. Finally I have to dispose the vehicle within 6 mths of the purchase at the rock bottom price. Even the dealer RNS motor in hosur road are very clumsy in dealing with exchange, as they are only gud looking ladies but bad in customer support. The floor manager vidya is just gud looking not in her work. I think they should be trained in english center as they are below the avarage in english. I think the ladies should not choose this category of work as there are wide range of job opportunities. Better the maruti company will make up there mind in alloting the dealers.
Finally please I beg u people don't go for omni as u will be shelling ur hard earned money in one soap dabba. now iam a proud owner of hundai xing. I wil never recommend maruti company even to my rivals.
