Maruti Ignis is the New style statement what Maruti with its Bolder looks in the affordable segment, The first n four most is the safety, & Maruti been the # 1 Manufracturer her in India has acted the most responsible manufacture by offering crucial and life saving features like ABS, EBD, Dual Air bags, ISO fixed child safety seat as Standard from the base variant, Its unbelieveable but true So lets salute it and Appreciate Maruti for offering crusial safety features as standart an all variants and offering Luxury features as an option which will end up reducing the number of road accidents in our nation which is sadely increasing @ an alarming rate, I would once again thank maruti fir going that extra mile and offering the safety features from the base variant , So wat are the other features that IGNIS ignITES_Company amoung the entusiast is the kind of kit it brings along with it, The in segment LED projecter headlamps, We get a 7 inch touch screen smart play infotainment system which supports Android auto & Apple carplay which is great for the smarter generation, Maruti claims to design the car with a more unconventinal theme that is more Modern and unique which is more inclined towards Wooving the younger generation, In my opinion the Design is a perfect blend of New & Retro design language which might not be imediately appealing everyone , But I feel it will grow in you with the time as you start seeing the car mire often on the roads, I love the way the front grill is designed, If I have to describe the IGNIS in one word that word would be Funky, The tail section reminds me of the Maruti Ritz to an some extent, As I told unearlier the design will take time to sink into the heart of the indian car buyers, Now getting inside we are welcomed by a dual tone interior , which again look kinda funky, The seats are well laid out and they seem to offer good support , the instrument panel comes very well equiped, the layoutof the switches inside the IGNIS reminds me of the Switches found in the Cockpit of an JET aircraft, The rear seats can take up to 3 people in the rear, the storage space are well thought of as we have cuppy holes here n their, IGNIS comes with an 5 speed auto as well as 5 speed Manual gearbox with a wide rannge of engine options We get the same two engines that power the Baleno eg : - 1.2 petrol & 1.3 diesel engines are tweeked up to serve the purpose in the IGNIS
