The all new maruti suzuki Ignis is in the news for all the rights and the wrongs!
The car is a very compact powerful and sporty looking and is supported by NEXA security features like dual airbag and anti braking system( ABS)
The engine too is quite powerful with 4 cylinder supporting fuel injection gives good torque of about 190 nm and bhp of around 74.
The car cabin is also pretty silent as the engine is suggested to be well tuned.
But when you drive this car you would feel maruti should have done better with this car.
My problem when I first took a test drive was the interiors which really should have been more classy than awkwardly arranged . The touch screen too looks a bit odd and the ac vents and door handle are just too odd to describe here.
But maybe you can compromise on the interiors but one more major drawback I felt while driving was the ground clearance and height of the vehicle.
Being a light car in the hatchback segment the car wobbles when you try high soeed and some breakers and bumps to ride on your way.
The maruti own car swift gives a better experience with such kind of driving.
Both car are coming under almost the same price range but for me swift has the upper hand in comparison.
I am in the mmod of buying a new diesel car and ignis fails to impress me.
