Her Esteemed presence. Review on Maruti Suzuki Esteem

Just thought I would share my experience of buying the maruti Esteem with all of you. As do all buyers I went through the whole process of sifting through endless advertisements and test drives until I finally arrived at the Esteem.

The search started about two months ago. Initially I thought about buying a second hand C-Segment car which would cost me less and armed with a good mechanic friend and hoping for a little bit of luck I was sure I would get a good deal. I drove every car in the segment from the Accent to the Ikon and Baleno to the City. The Esteem was the only car I didn't drive. To me the Esteem seemed like this outdated car that was for the previous generation. I wanted a fully loaded car with all the specs that a normal urban male desires.

I searched and searched; drove myself nuts. Ever seen a funny looking dog trying to bite its tail off running around in circles like a being possessed, well, thats just how I felt? Just couldn't make up my mind. Every car had its pros and cons. Therefore to narrow down the search I decided to go in for a new C-Segment car. That helped considerably, since now considering value for money and also the deals going around the Hyundai Accent and the Ford Ikon appeared to be the best deals. The technical specs I shall not bore you with. Suffice it to say that I had decided on the Accent due to its better performance construction and style and interiors. She was beautiful.

However all this time there was this nagging feeling in my mind that I was missing something obvious. I felt as if something was staring me right in the face and I could not see it. Frustrating feeling, take it from me. On the way to the Hyundai showroom I happened to pass by a Maruti Dealership and decided to walk in for a lark and the rest as they say is history.

I am a proud owner of a Maruti Esteem VXi Bharath Stage III, and the only regret I have is the time I wasted in looking around at the other pretenders for the crown. You name the feature folks and this baby has it all. Don't believe me? go and read up the specs given in the other reviews. This car absolutely rocks, from its smooth effortless acceleration to its drop dead gorgeous looks it is the best car in its segment, no doubts about it. Its a car with character, the new looks are truly very classy what with the new front grill, the sporty looks, the new luxurious upholstery, the gizmos like a powered antenna!!!!

I just fell in love with the car as you must have guessed by now! All it took was one glance and a test ride along with the servicing surety of maruti and the lower price tag. Its an absolute steal folks. Go for it while you still can, for the prices are gonna rise within a month.

Finally the clinching argument was that my love absolutely loved it too. Somehow it felt like OUR car. Can't really describe it, its like how when you go shopping for a shirt and spend countless hours looking for the shirt you have in mind and then you see a completely different shirt that you didn't even think of and forget all about the one you had in mind. Esteem is my car, it was just meant to be.
