I am using Maruti cars for the last 12 years and I was very much convinced about the products of MUL and was very much satisfied customer. I decided to change my vehicle and Dec 06 and again planned to buy Maruti Products and I bought Esteem. At the time of servicing, Dealer's DGM convinced me to save money on fuel spent by fitting CNG (which was also very much displayed at their workshop thru standees and other publicity material) .
He committed me full warranty of the product as well as of CNG kit under one roof i.e. at their workshop, he charged me Rs.45000 for that kit, which is available in the market for Rs.35000 as he said, fitting will be done professionally and you will get warranty and some other benefits. I am in trouble for the last 9 months, visited their workshop number of times, spent lot of money in this warranty period, however, problems like engine missing, rpm fluctuations, losing pick up, engine switching off at lower speed are still there.Even the CNG part, fitted in the engine compartment fell down by putting cracks in the body, as it was not fitted properly. All the time, I visited them for the problems, they do some settings, after which vehicles runs ok only for a day or two and afterwards prpblems startes again.
I met with an accident 2 times due to missing problems and now I have lost faith in the product as it has given me a mental agony too. More of the problems, Dealer's GM is mis-behaving and threatening me to not to call him or I will be in trouble. I think I have done a mistake by purchasing M Esteem. Problems are there both in petrol as well as in CNG mode.
