We had a Maruti 800 for 7 years and had no problems with it. Very reliable and very comfortable. When planning to go in a for a bigger car, my husband and I first decided to check out Ikon and Indigo. We then tried out all possible cars in that range and finally opted for Esteem (with the new look). We have been using the Esteem LXI model for about a year now, driving 50 kms daily (5 days a week)!
I will not go into the mechanics of the car (I am dud as far as all that is concerned). I shall talk about the lady stuff :)
Pros: Good interiors! Suspension is good (Pune roads are the best place for test drives). Spacious (there is enough leg space). It is a car with a boot (hmm...). Excellent mileage even with AC (about 14 kmph in the Pune city roads). Good pick up. It accelerate from 0 to 100 in about 12 secs (I am repeating what my husband says).
Cons: The only problem is that it is bit too low and I find it a little inconvenient to get out of the car.
Else, no complaints! Touch wood! It truly is a no problem car.
This is the first time I have written such a short review :) This review is short and sweet (hopefully), as it is on an automobile!
