Maruti suzuki had a new chain of premium cars called nexa and baleno has been a top seller for this chain.
Although I have looked closely at the car and there are alot of things which is not so premium about this top seller nexa car.
Starting with the interiors. My brother bought this car few weeks ago and I have spent a lot of time admiring the interiors of this car but at some places inside the cabin the quality of the plastic used is cheap and you can also the nut bolts uncovered at many places.
Also the thigh support in the rear seat is not comfortable so you feel unsafe during long journeys.
Now talking about the exteriors. The design is very impressive but there are some places in the outer design that could have ben better.
Example the ground clearance. The bend in the centre of the car don't allow you a good ground clearance as conpared to maruti swift.
The wheel base is wider than the swift so the clearance should have been more.
I had a drive too and I felt the clutch position is too high and had a problem with clutch pressing. Thats my personal experience.
Talking about the engine. The engine noise in diesel variant enters into the cabin alot even in low speeds. This is something swift owners are not use to.
The bootleg door the upper part of it if you inspect properly you would find poor finishing that is not done for a car who is said to be premium.
Overall NEXA promise a premium car service and there one too many flaws in baleno that makes it not so premium.
