I am a maruti alto 800 User. Once again have to contact maruti udyog limited for yet another problem that has croped up in my vehicle. I am presently using a maruti alto which was purchased from Magic Auto on 30 March 2005 from Dwarka. Although it has been two and a half years since the time of the date of purchase but I have faced nothing but problems with the vehicles. It started with a manufacturing defect in the gear box which maruti did not own up till the first 14 months of the purchase, [each time being told that there is a problem with the tire pins and were being replaced which was of no use].


Apart from that persistant noise from the door[ the driving end which maruti could never find why the problem was and what was the cause] , break booster getting replaced , the clutch assemby being replaced, the ac geting inaffective not to forget 2 batteries being replaced in just 2 years and the cost being brunt by the customer, and the latest problem as per maruti that the compressor of the Ac has given way. There was a problem with the air conditioning which maruti rectified about one year back . As per the technician at the work shop the gas and the oil have leaked from the compressor which has lead to the compressor's malfunctioning. I do not understand what sort of work and repairs or service does maruti give to its customers. With such sort of unreliable and inferior servce and products it is impossible to rely on any product purchased from maruti. My car as of now is out of warrant [ no reminders, calls were given by maruti  about extended warranty] and as per the work shop people it requires a new compressor because it has run dry and given way.


I am in a daze as two how to go about things. Maruti repired my air conditioning system about 10 to 12 moths back which has now lead to this .The time spend on the number of times I have to go to the workshop in the past two and a half years cannot be compensated in any way.  On purchase of a new vehicle a customer does expect he would not face any problems or difficulties with the vehicle at least for the first 3 years. But I have only had problems and problems. I would request maruti to look into the matter and give me an appropiate soltion to the this problem which is there with my air conditioning system of the vehicle.


I spoke to the GM as per him the car has to be maintained by the customer. As per our records timely service has been given to the car and there has been no delay or glitch from my end in maintaining the car.
