I was a very good customer of Maruti before the very unexpected service explained below. Please check and learn that how to save your money:
I bought an Alto a month back from True value. I paid little more as compare to the market because I thought I do not have to spend more on maintenance after purchasing it. I drove it for 1 week and found some problem in the clutch. The car was vibrating in the 1st gear. As I got 6 months warranty from True value, I went to them however they just adjusted the clutch wire and did a "JUGAAD". Then again in 2 days the same problem started. I was planning to go to punjab in this car and I went to True value for car service one day prior so that there would not be any problem in the trip. They serviced my car.
I asked them it will travel for around 1000 kms. They said go for even 2000 kms. I was happy to see the service. Next morning we left for Punjab. Suddenly my car broke down in Karnal. It was very difficult to find a mechanic in that kind of place however I found one after half n hour walk. He checked and informed me that gear oil was not checked while servicing. No leakage. He said it was not checked for a long time. I know how I managed to continue that trip and came back to delhi in 5 days. I only used 4th gear as all other gears were not working. Hence, it affected on the clutch. When I came back and asked True value same. They were not ready to accept their mistake. After a long argument with the manager and the staff they agreed to repair the gear. According to them there is no warranty on clutch. But the clutch was fine that is why we could drive the car for 800 kms. Clutch was also damaged by their mistake. My car number is 4894.
I am really very upset with this company. Will never recommend anybody.
