Alto is just 47 hp car. but car is afterall a car. its still better than owning a bike. a bike is unsafe but car is bit more safer than a bike if u drive carefulluy. I have driven other cars but this car comes with a retarded engine with no pick up. Specially when u drive out of town the real picture of the car comes in front of you. Its not made for national highways but for city drive only. U will feel its acceleration and grip on road not good. For a family man with 4-5 members the space is very less inside . Once the ac is on the car has problem with pickup. I made a big mistake when I purchased this car. with a cost of Rs. 300000/- it does not provide features according to the price. it should cost around 2.47 lacs. But one thing is commendable that i have driven alto for now more than 1 year but it has yet to give me any hassles or problem. its a good car for those who are careful about their budgets and those who have just entered the 4 wheeler market from their 2 wheelers. alto is good for middle class people as it gives good mileage also. the ac is ok not good not bad.
1) alto is underpowered
2) the steering wheel is too thin
3) space too small
4) bootspace too less
5) grip on road not good
