This car is the most popular car in the country so, no doubt this is a good car. As everyone know about good part of this car by now so, I would rather focus on what this lack. I have alto std old model and my brother has alto 800 so, I drove both cars often. The first thing I didn't like about this car is its aerodynamics, designer could have done better, as this car looks flat feom front, as we say, cutted nose in common words, and comparing alto std old and alto 800 I found alto 800 start shaking after the speed of 100kmph but, I drove alto std old upto top speed of 155kmph but, its completely smooth. Body is not so, sturdy as old one and if you push at boot door by thumbs you can create dent which you won't do with old version. And the most bad part is, the engine oil tank below bonnet, is made up of aluminium casting which punchers by average hit, whereas old version has got, solid iron cast which is tuff.
Last, this car eats up clutch plate much kore rapidly as compared to old version which increases its maintenance cost. Although these are minor problem which I found with this car, still its a good buy.
