Old wine new bottle. Review on Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

Cons7using 800 ac from last 10 years seeing maruti performance bought  maruti alto 800 in nov 13 from vipul motors jaipur

all is well in dealer side .except few

thing .

1 .all maruti dealers charging rs 5000 apx max for alto in name of handling charges etc when complain to

maruti

they said its transportation cost and driver expenses to transport car from

company production facility to dealer

warehouse .

I said maruti shows each model cost varies in every city on same state now cost varies only( ex show) due to transport etc as vat is same for whole state and than how handling etc charges separately  they and vipul sales person cant able to answer now

1. comp asscessories like floor mat which I dont like as always slip in use and hassle for break and clutch sometime I want to use 3m mat for better performance .

   
   




2. vipul says extra free warranty sent to ur home by maruti but even after 10 months no sign  of it.

   
   

now comes to car.

pros

1.car by looks good than 800 .more

stylish .good curvy design.interior etc.

2.3 spokes s.wheel  feel good to drive and handle.

1. power steering works good.

4.feel less road bump than 800 means better suspension

5.ac is good with heater option .

6.ac vent I like which is better than 800.

7.light and lamps are also better than 800.

8 5 gear feels good to drive.

9.mileage same as old 800

Cons:-

1.its engine and ride not feel as smooth as old 800 idont know may be only with my vehicle or not I don't know means throttle response feel sluggish than carb 800 means if u instanty pedal throttle it race up slowly .and while driving reverse engine make slight more noise .

Reverse gear not engaged easily or say easy shift may be only with my. Car only.

. car is not bad I drove it to 3760 km apx till now.and 350 km in single journey .

Mileage it get 15.65 kmpl to 18.75 kmpl in city with Ac 16 to 17 kmpl in city in Jaipur not in old city just outside inside Jaipur walled city all car just creeps like snail. So many things to handle for driver lol .on highway just checked ones before first service  its apx 21 kmpl in winter ha ha heater on but that I think no effect on fuel economy.

Looks spacois than 800 slightly one more u can add. In passenger .

Built quality seems poor than m800 alto 800 plastic bent and squeeze like cheap plastic. Toy while old 800 have bakellite like solid. Shiny plastic. .Iow. lxi version cost me 3.36 lakhs all without any accessories except cheap looking  mga. Floor mat

In ac it feel more sluggish than well tuned m800 carb.earlier ex show for. My m800 was 2.14 lakh with zero discount and waiting .in 2003 and now 3.18 lakh with 15000 apx discount now on alto 800 .
