Bought new alto 800 LXI one and half months ago from mahalaxmi automotives, Baramati-Pune. till date experience with the car is nice.
Initially I had observed few probs in my new car. which were started to give me signals that I had gone with wrong decision.
1) Driver side window vibration.
2) Engine noise was bit high compared to other petrol cars.as petrol cars are supposed to have zero noise.
3) Central lock setting was nor proper.
But, after 1 st servicing priblems were resolved. Its nice experience with to drive such a low powered car. It never let make u feel that u have bought a very small car with small specifications.
It easily crosses 100-120 Km/hr.
But.keeping AC on makes all your joys nd funs of driving to down the level.
AC Sucks 60% power of engine. not even possible for overtaking also.
On hills.with 4 persons in the car.with AC on just at 2 also makes your car so roaring. you have to .you must have to shut AC.
For small family with a couple and single child it is A PERFECT CAR.
On Highways with 50% load in the car and with ac on . Performance of the car is luxurious.
Space is sufficient in the back seat also.
Electronic power steering is very smooth to operate.
Gear shifting is also awsome.
Suspension of the Alto800 is highly improved than old alto.
Its perfect and awsome car for a middle class comman man.
Blindly trust this car for fuel economy. it delievers min 21Km/lit. On highways keep this car at speed of70-80 Km/ hr. Im sure that u'll get 24-26km/lit.
My car delievering on common town side roads 23km/lit.Which is very good for a petrol car.budgeting below 3.5lacs.
Maruti is also helping for customers to buy this car by giving disscount of 25k-35k.
Maruti is name for trust.Service by maruti is really fantastic.
I really strongly recommend this car for New buyers and low budget buyers than any other car.
This diwali vacation im planning to go for long drive. will update you about performance of this car in next month.
