These are the changes in new model:
FRONT GRILLE: Somewhat better than the previous one.
BADGING: Maruti Badge is replaced with Suzuki Badge on the front grille.
DASH BOARD: Only colour has been changed to Gray.
CLEAR MULTI-REFLECTOR HEADLIGHTS: Very attractive, especially the parking lights are good looking. No change in front indicator lights, fixed in bumper as in previous model.
CLEAR LENS REAR COMBINATION LAMPS: I rate these lights as best. These are better looking than Alto, Zen & Wagon R rear lights.
DUAL TONE INTERIORS: The upholstery & doors are done with light blue & gray colour.
HEAD LAMP LEVELLING: Allows you to adjust the beam angle in four different levels as per the load in the car. It provides better visibility and reduces glare onto oncoming vehicles.
CATALYTIC CONVERTER Coverts exhaust pollutants to harmless gases.
ENGINE: 32-bit ECM (Electronic Control Module) improves fuel efficiency and performance. (Available in BS III only)
COLOURS: NON METALLIC: Superior White, Bright Red METALLIC: Silky Silver, Icy Blue, Caribbean Blue, Crystal Gold
OTHER FEATURES
GREEN TINTED GLASS Don't confuse it with ''window tinting''. It's only a form of better quality transparent glass.
MANUAL: I will rate the manual 7/10. There is more scope to explain things. The illustrations have to be in colour as it makes a lot of difference. We can easily differentiate the body parts by looking at different colours and it becomes more understandable. But unfortunately, the manuals in India are mostly in black and white. The only part in colour is the ''Ad'' about Maruti Genuine Parts, so that the customer is impressed by its print and good quality paper. There are some mistakes too, after so many years of printing.
TOOLKIT: Only Car Jack and Handle is provided.
The company says: For vehicles equipped with a MPFI system, the tool kit includes a car jack and the handle only. The other tools which were provided earlier are not required for MPFI vehicles. Well! how can you replace a bulb in case of emergency with car jack and handle Mr. Jagdish Khattar ??
EXTENDED WARRANTY This warranty is applicable for major defects if any, in your car. If you drive your car carefully, there is no need to go for it. You have to pay for many parts even if you go for this warranty. Please ask the Dealer for the Warranty Booklet/Policy and go through it before buying the extended warranty. You get 2 year warranty by default when you buy a new car. Although, it's a matter of personal choice in case of extended warranty. So you are the best judge.
MINUS POINTS
1-No TACHOMETER (Very useful if you have one)
2-No TRIPMETER (Very useful)
3-No POWER STEERING option (Don't say we don't need PS in small cars, PS helps to reduce your shoulder fatigue, helps in parking efficiently, taking U-turns, controlling the vehicle at high speed in case of emergency etc.)
4-Only FOUR GEARS available.
5-No HEATING option in AC (It's not very essential although)
6-Headlight Levelling switch operates anti-clockwise i.e. it's ''0'' at extreme Right and ''4'' at extreme Left. It becomes easy to remember if it's clockwise.
7-Fuel Lid is not remote controlled.
8-No Rear View Mirror on Left Side.
9-No ''Left Side Ventilator'' for AC.
10-Can't make out whether the warning lights on Instrument Panel are ''ON '' at daytime. The indication should be bright or there should be some beep system.
11-Frail Body.
Besides, above points, I think it should have Gear Shift indicators, it should have at least 3 indications, i.e. Neutral, Reverse, and an indication for any gear between 1 thru 4. Ideally, it should have N1234R indications. Another important thing, it should have factory fitted Mobile Charging Point.

Please read the manual many times, as it will help you to save your car for longer period. Cleaning your car from outside as well as inside at least once in a week is essential. It will reduce the chances of corrosion of car's body.
This car is low on space if you drive with full capacity of passengers everyday. Otherwise, it's fine if you are not so fussy about leg-room & things like that.
Please, read the AC operation section carefully to utilize the AC tactfully or you may end up saying that it's AC is not good. One common mistake it to put air intake lever on fresh air without AC ON and with windows closed. The hot air will keep creeping in your car. Close this lever as soon as you leave the car for parking.
Another message, PLEASE DRIVE IN YOUR LANE ONLY, don't follow others, if they drive like serpents. RESIST. I request especially, to all the Dehliites to drive in your lane only. Teach others, to do the same.
