I just bought M-800 from Mahindra First Choice, Pune. Firstly, I didn't have a big budget for the car as I was not going to use it daily. Only for family outings.
But after driving for one day I realised why this the most popular car in the country. Actually I had tried almost all the small cars available. But I found M-800 best for amateur drivers.
It really handles driver gently, though a driver may handle the car roughly. It matters for new drivers like me.
Well the pros of the car is well knows - It has sufficient space for 4+1 people, gr8 mileage, decent looks and comfort.
Now cons - I feel it lacks power to drive on a highway. though I have touched 95 on the expressway. But on slopes you want to drive on the left most lanes if you don't want cars honking behind you. Thats when you miss the power of Indica/ Zen.
Second, Safety. It would have been a truely family car if they had fitted at least child locks in rear doors.
Nevertheless, for the given price, it is still a value for money!!!
