I had given my Maruti Wagon R car for service after 20, 000 kms. The car was picked up from my home as scheduled and the service advisor informed me of the maintenance costs that were being charged. Upon delivery of the vehicle, I had noticed problems with the engine being noisy and subsequently visited the service center again. The same service advisor admitted to the problem and agreed to take the vehicle back for servicing. A week has passed and I have not been contacted/given a timeline for the next visit.
Besides being unable to deliver a serviced car in a good condition, the company also made promises that they could not honour. Be forewarned before giving your car to the Chennai outlet, lest you face a bitter experience. You may get serviced by inexperienced, smooth talking service personnel whose incompetence may result in future visits that may never happen or still be unproductive.
