This is my first review on mouthshut...i was previously owning a hyundai santro very much satisfied and happy about the car...the reason why I changed the car was mainly the space..and also my budget was around 4 lakhs.....

i got my new Maruti Eeco 5 str a/c on Nov 6th 2010 from Pratham motors , bangalore..frankly speaking I got this car merely because it was bigger car with lots of space inside.but my first experience with the car was great....every time I used to drive my santro my main attention was towards the depth of the potholes as it may hit the under chassis, but its not at all a problem in eeco with the best clearance possible, about the engine its very quite and zippy..it was able to easily drive around with 5 people on board as well as A/c on...About the mileage it returned me around 14km to 15km on highway and 1 km less in city...

I have driven only 700kms till now , it may improve after the services, about the handling everything is good like the steering u dont feel the necessity of a power steering as it is smooth and less heavy on ur hands....but the only negative point that I felt was when driving on a highway when a bigger vehicle like a bus or lorry passes beside , the vehicle tends to loose its balance a little and shivers a bit and then settles down.may be this is because of its height...i have heard about the same problem in versa also...

Guys my overall experience with my eeco was fantastic definitely backed up with maruti's reliability... so whoever needs a bigger car than a hatch back with 4 lakhs as their budget can definitely go for EECO.

happy motoring.

cheers

Raghu
