Though it holds the honour of 12 kms length, the longest in all Asia, but unfortunately, very untidy and unkempt. People who come to visit chennai from all over India surely come to pay a visit there.
They are severely disappointed. Neither the state government nor the concerned department have made any comfort zone, security zone, availability of basic amenities, nothing of that sort.
Its is heavens wish that marina beach is there and heavens responsible for its maintenance.
During bad weather there is hardly any shelter, for ladies, specifically, no comfort zone.
Yes, again I would say, it happens only in India.
