I was very fond of Manipal university. I was searching for MS Engg after my graduation in india. Normally there is no MS Engg course available in india & most we need to look out for overseas Masters only.
I came to know only BITS Pilani & Manipal University providing MS Engg in india after lot of research.
But BITS Pilani has tied up with Wipro & SAP Labs only. Again I was in upset mode, but after I went through with Manipal University Weekend MS Engg Program for working professional I was very happy.
They have tied up with more than 800+ companies in India to promote this MS Engg Program. With major joints like Microsoft, Yahoo, Cisco, Accenture etc to Medium level companies.
I joined MS Engg in S/W Design & Engg during 2011, during weekend we enjoy a lot, learned a lot. The subjects & topics were very detailed & very useful.
It was a great opportunity to sit with different company employees & learn new things in class. The professors are so experienced & thought us in amazing way.
Finally I got gold medal for my MS Engg Automation Project.
It was a delicious movement in my life to get my MS Egg Degree which is highly respected in IT industry(It also recognized in most of the IT companies since University tied up with many IT companies for sponsorship. Mindtree, Microsoft, Cisco etc were payed fees for their employees.)
After 2014 I heard due to conflicts in india with the terminology MS means Master of Surgery from Medical background the university changed the degree name to MS Tech.
And then to MSc Tech.
I became a huge mess with students from Engineer background. Students started to think why should we join MSc.:(
It went in vain.
Now they stopped the MS Engg itself.
People who had dream about MS Engg in india now it is not possible.
It is a sad sad news I can say.
But it gave me a good break for me. It gave more confidence & my life improved a lot with MS Engg. It is all by Manipal University. They implement the future always.
